The bananas are being distributed by Van Damme under two different packagings :

1. A box of 18kg (40 lb) in clusters
2. A box of 8 kg 'special selection'

Bonita

Those excellent quality bananas come from Ecuador. The Bonita banana is not being advertized wich makes it a cheaper banana.
The bananas are being distributed by Van Damme under different packagings and several qualities :

1. A box of 18 kg (40 lb) in clusters
2. The 'Minipack '- Boxes of 18kg (40 lb)
3. The 'Hands' - Boxes of13kg (28 lb) - Bananas are in 'hands'
4. The 'Morandos' - Pink bananas in 8,5kg (19 lb) boxes
5. The 'Ninos' - small bananas (known as 'fairy fingers') in 6,5kg (14 lb)boxes

Fyffes

Fyffes, founded in 1888, was the first company to brand bananas so that they could be distinguished at retail level. This was done in 1929 wich makes Fyffes the oldest fruit brand in the world.

Fyffes bananas production sites are :

• Jamaica
• Windward Islands

Van Damme distributes those bananas only in 18kg (40 lb)boxes.
